El favorito es Pacquiao pero el dinero está en Hatton

Si la máxima de las apuestas es arriesgarse para ganar, entonces hay que meter el dinero del lado de Ricky Hatton. No estamos recomendando a nadie apostar por algún boxeador en particular (sobre en todo en sitios donde sea ilegal), pero hasta hoy, para ganar más, tendrían que hacerlo por el púgil inglés. La propuesta no suena del todo descabellada si hay quien piensa que éste puede dar la sorpresa. Pero luego hay quien ve lo anterior como una locura... ¿Confundido?... Es normal.

Es el eterno juego del favorito -en este caso Manny Pacquiao- contra el menos preferido, cosa que la determinan en primer orden las casas de apuestas y luego la dinámica de lo que dejan los jugadores en ellas.

Ok, vamos al grano. Hasta la noche del miércoles la apuesta más abierta, o sea ganador o perdedor, decía que Pacquiao era el fuerte con -255 mientras que Hatton aparecía con las de perder en +195. Un (casi) 2/1.

Pero ¿y eso qué quiere decir? Te lo traducimos al español mejor: Si pones $100 apostando a que gana el 'Pacman' te llevarás 39 billetitos, pero si tiras la misma suma a favor del 'Hitman' entonces ganarás 195 pesitos. Por cada dólar a Pacquiao, casi medio dólar y por cada dólar a Hatton, casi dos papeles.

Las fórmulas para calcularlo son más sencillas de lo que parece. En el caso del favorito va así tomando como base los 100 dólares: 100 dividido entre 255 y el resultado multiplicado por 100=39. Y en cuanto a Hatton: 100 multiplicado por 195 y el resultado dividido entre 100=195.
