Queremos Mayweather vs. Mosley
El rostro de Márquez todavía estaba hinchado cuando el Golden Boy lanzó que Pacquiao no tendrá chance alguno contra Mayweather si se encuentran en el ring.
A mí que me den Mayweather vs. Mosley.
"Mira lo que Juan Manuel hizo con Pacquiao. Muchos de ustedes [la prensa] dicen que Juan Manuel venció a Pacquiao. ¿Qué tú crees pasará, seriamente, entre Floyd y Pacquiao?", dijo De La Hoya tras el combate del sábado.
Claro, la semana pasada De La Hoya había blogueado que Márquez no tendría mayores dificultades contra Mayweather.
Márquez es más rápido de lo que la gente piensa. Lo demostró dos veces contra Pacquiao, quien es muy veloz. Mayweather no tira muchos puños juntos como Pacquiao. Tira uno, dos puños y ya. Esto le dará tiempo a Márquez a pensar y encontrar aperturas.
Ya sabemos lo bien que le fue con ese pronóstico.
Uno podría aceptar que sí, Márquez le dio las peleas de su vida a Pacquiao. Pero la otra parte puede decir que Pacquiao dejó a Hatton inconsciente en sólo dos asaltos mientras que Mayweather necesitó 10 rounds para tumbarlo.
¿Qué nos dice todo eso? No mucho. Comparar peleas que pasaron en diferentes momentos y diversos pesos no da una medida clara de lo que ocurrirá en alguna pelea potencial entre "Money May" y el filipino.
Pero lo que De La Hoya quiere es que Mayweather haga su próxima pelea con su socio en Golden Boy Promotions, Shane Mosley.
"Mosley y Floyd pueden hacer historia y tener una mega pelea, el Super Bowl del boxeo, un encuentro Todo-Americano, Mosley y Floyd", indicó De La Hoya.

Se da prácticamente por sentado que Mayweather vs. Pacquiao se haría en 2010 si el filipino vence a Miguel Cotto el 14 de noviembre. Puede que no sea tan simple, pues Mayweather no ha querido hacer negocios con Bob Arum de Top Rank desde que se fue de esa empresa en el 2006. Pero esa animosidad no se impondrá sobre la mente cautelosa de Mayweather.
Me sorprendería muchísimo que acepte pelear con Mosley, un welter natural quien pese a su edad demostró contra Margarito que aún es un boxeador peligroso. Mayweather escogerá a Pacquiao, quien no deja de ser un rival de cuidado pero es más pequeño, contra quien Floyd puede inflarse nuevamente de peso como lo hizo contra Márquez.
Pero no creo que sea la mejor pelea para el boxeo. Realmente quisiera ver a Pacquiao en una tercera vuelta con Márquez para que se decida de una vez y por todas esa rivalidad.
Mientras, Mayweather-Mosley sería un choque entre similares en tamaño, velocidad y técnica. Un verdadero combate welter, tal como lo sería contra Cotto, si éste sale bien de su cita con Pacquiao. Porque ya es hora de que Mayweather pelee contra alguien de su tamaño. Lo demás es un show.

Yo lo que quiero es que Mayweather se pegue de una vez con alguien, porque no hace más que correr por el ring o agarrarse. A ver si Mosley o Pacquiao le tumban de una vez en la lona y le quitan un poco la chulería, que le hace mucha falta.

Maywheather y mosley seria la pelea perfecta porque mosley es un veterano guerrero y mayweather es la mente maestra sobre el cuadrilatero aunque muchos no lo ven asi pero por eso conserva su invicto por su tecnica de boxear con la mente ya que no cuenta con una buena pegada se mueve inteligente mente en el cuadrilatero como nuestro ivan calderon ,auque le echen peleadores que quieran reventarlos ellos inteligentementes se mueven golpean y amaran
