El campeón superpluma del Consejo Mundial de Boxeo (CMB), Humberto Soto, llegó a Ciudad Obregón para su combate de este sábado contra Jesús "Matador" Chávez.'Zorrita' Soto (49-7-2, 32 nocauts) y "Matador" Chávez (44-6, 30 kos), se presentarán en peso ligero en la función Gala de Campeones donde el venezolano Nehomar Cermeño (18-0, 10 kos) expondrá su título interino gallo de la Asociación Mundial de Boxeo (AMB) en contra del local Alex Valdez (22-3-3, 15 kos).
La velada es presentada por Zanfer Promociones y Larsa Comunicaciones en transmisión a todo el país a través de Televisión Azteca y en los Estados Unidos en el sistema Pago por Evento.

En el respaldo, el ex-campeón mundial ligero, José Luis Castillo (60-9-1, 52 Kos) en contra de Cristian Chávez (24-17-2, 17 kos) y la pelea del invicto clasificado mundial de Sonora Hernán "Tyson" Márquez (26-0, 19 kos) ante Ricardo Armenta en peso mosca.
"No tenemos ningún problema con el peso, estamos cuatro o cinco libras arriba pero eso es normal a una semana del pesaje en cualquier pelea", dijo 'Zorrita' Soto.
"Nosotros nos hemos preparado para llegar a los 10 rounds, haciendo una pelea inteligente, escuchando a la esquina, si la pelea llega a su fin antes pues estamos preparados", puntualizó Soto.
