El quarterback Brett Favre, señaló que es casi un hecho que tomará parte en el partido donde los Vikings se medirán ante los Patriots, a pesar de que tiene dos fracturas en el tobillo izquierdo.El 'General' declaró en una entrevista de televisión, que sus lesiones han sanado muy bien y que su intención es ser titular ante los New England Patriots, situación que extendería su récord de 291 partidos consecutivos.
El quarterback de 41 años de edad, es un verdadero 'caballo de hierro' y un profesional en toda la extensión de la palabra, además de contar con una recuperación extraordinaria de las lesiones que ha sufrido.
Favre que tomó parte en los entrenamientos de los dos días anteriores, aunque con muy poca participación, se le vio con una protección especial en el tobillo.
El entrenador Brad Childress tendrá que medir bien la situación, luego que un jugador que no se encuentra al cien por ciento, es dar ventaja y contra un conjunto como los Patriots es un suicidio.
Quizá el profesionalismo de Favre, lo lleve a declinar su participación y olvidarse de su marca de juegos consecutivos, algo que sin duda quedará en las mayores proezas en la NFL.
