El 'Niño' Torres hizo la travesura al Chelsea
Chelsea se mantiene como líder de la Liga Premier pese a la derrota 2-0 en casa de Liverpool, sin embargo, dejó escapar la ventaja de cinco puntos que tenía y ahora es de dos por encima de su más cercano perseguidor, Manchester United, al término de la undécima jornada.Los hombres del italiano Carlo Ancelotti llegaron muy confiados al estadio de Anfield y se toparon con un equipo motivado que ratificó su mejoría luego de un terrible inicio, que los ubicó en puestos de descenso y ahora están en el lugar nueve con 15 puntos.

Los "Blues" lideran la clasificación con 25 puntos, dos por encima del United que la víspera venció al Wolverhampton Wanderers, mientras que el Manchester City logró un triunfo importante que los coloca en el cuarto peldaño (20) a cinco puntos del líder, junto al Arsenal.
Los "Gunners" dejaron escapar este día la oportunidad de oro de acortar distancias, la caer en casa 1-0 ante el Newcastle para quedarse en la tercera posición.
