Orden de protección contra Mayweather
Las Vegas - El Tribunal de Las Vegas le ordenó al boxeador Floyd Mayweather Jr. a mantenerse alejado de su ex novia y de sus dos hijos luego de que los fiscales alegaran que él la golpeó a ella y amenazó con hacer lo mismo con sus hijos si llamaban al sistema de emergencia 911.Mayweather, de 33 años, renunció a la vista señalada para hoy martes ante la juez Diana Sullivan en el Tribunal de Las Vegas. Al púgil se le acusa de ocho cargos de delitos menos graves y criminales. Sulliavan le dio un plazo de una semana para pagar la fianza de $31,000.
Las autoridades alegan que Mayweather se apropió de un teléfono móvil que le pertenecía a Josie Harris y a sus hijos luego de discutir el 9 de septiembre.
Mayweather encara cargos de coacción criminal, hurto mayor y robo y delitos menos graves de violencia doméstica y hostigamiento.
De ser convicto en todos los casos podría encarar una sentencia de 34 años. Su caso se verá en corte el 24 de enero.
