'Canelo' Alvarez estará en Los Ángeles
Este martes se presentará de manera oficial el encuentro entre el campeón mexicano Saúl Álvarez y el contendiente número seis del Cosejo Mundial de Boxeo, el mexicoamericano Alfonso Gómez.Ambos darán a conocer la cartelera en la que el tapatío de 21 años buscará defender la corona de los Superwelters, versión CMB.
La pelea entre el Canelo y Alfonso Gómez será la estelar el próximo 17 de septiembre en una cartelera organizada en Los Ángeles, California, pero se integrará al pago por evento que encabezará el estadounidense Floyd Mayweather Jr. en su retorno a los encordados.
En su último encuentro, El Canelo logró imponerse al inglés Ryan Rhodes por nocaut técnico en el doceavo round.
