LOS ANGELES (AP) - Los Lakers de Los Angeles ganaron su 16to campeonato de la NBA, repuntando dramáticamente de un déficit en el último período para vencer el jueves 83-79 a los Celtics de Boston en el séptimo partido de la final.Kobe Bryant anotó 23 puntos a pesar de sólo encestar seis canastas en 24 intentos en lo que es su quinto título con el uniforme de los Lakers, que repitieron como campeones de la liga por primera vez desde que ganaron tres consecutivos del 2000 al 2002.
Ron Artest agregó 20 unidades para los Lakers, que tuvieron una puntería terrible en un partido en el que estuvieron abajo en el marcador durante la mayor parte de los primeros tres períodos y medio. Sin embargo, se apoderaron del liderato a la mitad del último cuarto y lo conservaron con grandes canastas del español Pau Gasol y de Artest.
Los Lakers quieren retenerlo así como a otros más y aseguraron ayer su continuidad por tres temporadas más. Con esto, el equipo angelino, campeón de la NBA en la temporada pasada, mantiene la base de jugadores estelares, conformada por si fuera poco por el español Pau Gasol, Andrew Bynum, Ron Artes y Lamar Odom.Esta lista de super estrellas quedaría completa con la renovación del técnico, Phil Jackson, quien aún no decide si continúa o no.
Una de las piezas claves en los partidos de los Lakers para aspirar a ganar la NBA es sin lugar a dudas Lamar Odom. Este basquetbolista de los angelinos ¿saben cómo se prepara para las ansiadas finales?
Si pensabas que eran las bebidas energéticas, no, no precisamente... Odom es devoto de las golosinas, y se atiborra de ellas sin ningún tipo de estupor, eso sí, sólo por las mañanas, ya que en las noches podría activarlo aún más y no descansar como debe ser... ¡Bien por Odom!
De todo se vive en las noches de juegos de la NBA, y la noche del martes, cuando jugaron los Lakers, no fue la excepción. Ahí se dieron cita figuras, grandes estrellas en la nba, figurones como Warren Beatty, Dustin Hoffman (gran fanático del baloncesto) Andy García, David Arquette, George López y Jack Nicholson.
